Real Estate is an American rock band from Ridgewood, New Jersey, formed in 2009. The band is currently based in Brooklyn, New York, and currently consists of Martin Courtney, IV (vocals, guitar), Alex Bleeker (bass, vocals), Jackson Pollis (drums), Matt Kallman (keyboards) and Julian Lynch (guitar).

The band's breezy melodies, jangly guitars, relaxed vocals, and generally laid-back approach to songcraft hide musical complexities. Their fifth studio album, “The Main Thing,” was just released and features their first single, “Paper Cup” featuring Amelia Meath of Sylvan Esso
